MEANING OF GOVERNMENT

GOVERNMENT IN NIGERIA

1. Nigeria’s government has a president who serves as both head of state and head of government. The presidential cabinet includes representatives from each of Nigeria’s 36 states.

2. The National Assembly has a Senate and a House of Representatives.

3. The judicial branch includes the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeal, and the Federal High Court.
